Promoting Philanthropy in the Classrooms We Need Your
Help!
In celebration of our 27th National Philanthropy Day celebration
in November, we are inviting AFP members of the nonprofit community to give up
one day of your lunch hour to educate local students about philanthropy.You’ll spend 30-45 minutes in an elementary
school classroom to talk with students about philanthropy, the nonprofit and
volunteer sector, and empower them to take action in their communities.The students will create artwork on what they
have learned about philanthropy and what it means to them. We will display the
artwork at our National Philanthropy Day luncheon on November 10th.AFP will provide supplies and talking points.
